- Liaising with sub-national authorities in Ireland on EU policy developments in order to inform and facilitate active enagement in initiatives
- Identification of and assistance with networking and funding opportunities;
- Research and briefings;
- Developing linkages with EU institutions and other bodies in Brussels of relevance to the work of the IRO
- Proxy representation of interests at EU events, thematic and regional fora and project meetings in Brussels;
