Lifelong Learning 2010 Calls (all sub-programmes)
The European Commission has published the 2010 General call for proposals of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) with an available budget of approximately EUR1 billion across the six sectoral programmes: i) Comenius (school education); ii) Erasmus (higher education); iii) Leonardo da Vinci (vocational education and training); iv) Grundtvig (adult education), v) the Transversal programme and vi) Jean Monnet (academic teaching).
Increased focus is given this year to projects promoting the policy objectives of 'ET 2020' (the updated Strategic Framework for European Cooperation to reform education and training systems, launched in May), and fostering creativity and innovation in these fields. Reference is also made to the following key EU policy developments: the 'New Skills for New Jobs' Communication; the EU Forum for University Business Dialogue; and the Green Paper on Youth Mobility.
