Project title: Tourism Partner Search

Lead Partner: Paijanne, Finland

Policy area: Tourism

Description: Paijanne-Leader is a EU funded Leader Action Group (European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development) that is look for European partners to participate in an international project for nature tourism development. The group is looking for partners with a similar environment (national park including lakes and forests) and already developed infrastructure and experience in nature tourism. The group promotes development in the rural area in cooperation with residents, communities, and local authorities.

Project title: Pre-school Education Partner Search

Lead Partner: Mellangarden, Norrkoping, Sweden

Policy area: Comenius, EU Lifelong Learning Programme

Description: The Mellangarden pre-school in Norrkoping Municipality is looking for partners to participate in a 'ICT in pre-schools' project. The project aims to look at how teachers can integrate ICT in the daily work with pre-school children, what ICT means are available in pre-schools, how ICT can function as a facilitator for children with special needs, and what in-service training is provided for pre-school staff working with new technologies.

Project title: Culture Partner Search

Lead Partner: 'Poitiers Jeunes', Poitou-Charentes, France

Policy area: Culture

Description: 'Poitiers Jeunes', an association which works on cultural projects involving street arts, theatre, music and circus arts, is looking for partners to participate in a Cooperation action under the next EU Culture Programme Call for proposals (deadline 1 October 2009). The association would like to work with other agencies which support artistic projects, have creative infrastructures such as stages and technical equipment, and work in creative venues, such as theatres, concert halls and circus tents.

Project title: Imagina Atlantica

Policy area: Entrepreneurism, Innovation, Visual Arts

Description: The 'Imagina Atlantica' project consortium, led by Angouleme, are looking for partners to participate in the project. The project focuses on Priority 1 of the Atlantic Area Operational Programme, which promotes "transnational, entrepreneurial, and innovation networks", and the overall aim of the project is to create an Atlantic 'cluster' for visual art technologies and to deploy its resources for the promotion of the Atlantic patrimony. The project already includes partners from Spain, France, and Portugal, and the group would like to find other partners from the UK and Ireland.

Description: The Voivodship Labour Office in Torun are looking for partners to participate in a project focusing on 'Improvement of the individual work methods with people experiencing particular difficulties on the labour market'. The objective of the project is to strengthen and develop public employment services in regions through exchanging information, experiences and good practices involving people who experience difficulties in securing employment, such as older people, women, long-term unemployed people, and people from rural areas.

Description: Agropolis, a development company operating in food and environmental sectors, are looking for partners to participate in the 'EcoFoodInnovations' project under the EU Eco-innovation programme. The purpose of the project is to create a joint business model based on the recycling of materials in cooperation with SMEs, and to create an eco label for high added-value products made from the sideflows of food industry and biodegradable municipal waste in order to promote the significant penetration to market.

Description: Midttrafik, a public transport authority in Denmark, are looking for partners who are interested in sharing experiences, knowledge, and best practices regarding the education of bus drivers. As there are no specific education programmes for bus drivers, Midttrafik are interested in developing its own education programmes for drivers as well as contractors.

Description: The University of Valencia would like to find partners to participate in a project entitled 'Knowledge Networks for the Competitiveness and Sustainability of European Tourism'. The main objective of the project is to build a 'European technological platform on tourism for all', focusing on developing tourism resources that includes all people, regardless of age, gender, disabilities, or ethnic background. Project title: 'Girls and violence'

Description: The Sagne district of Oslo is looking for partners to participate in a Daphne III project entitled 'Girls and violence'. The project involves exchanging experiences and knowledge regarding work with girls who conduct violence, workshops to see how partners deal with girls who conduct violence, and establishing measures such as mentoring and anti-agression groups for girls with violence/aggression problems.

Policy area: CIP Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme

Description: A consultant company from Galicia is looking for partners to participate in an eco-innovation project. The aim of the project is to develop a 'Fashion Eco-design' tool to help designers and manufacturers in the eco-design of clothes, shoes, and accessories. Companies that are interested in identifying needs and trends in eco-retailing and eco-shoes, and analysing the legal and commercial conditions in the textile and footwear sectors in EU member states are encouraged to participate.

Description: The Marche region in Italy is looking for partners under the FP7 Regions of Knowledge Call focusing on health-related economy, in particular e-Health and ageing. The Marche region has encouraged large, small and medium enterprises to develop new products and systems for ambient assisted living and intelligent home management, and is looking for research clusters interested in the e-Health sector and work with the elderly in order to develop a Joint Action Plan, exchange ideas and develop international cooperation.

Project title: Youth Partner Search

Lead Partner: Dalarna, Sweden

Policy area: Youth work

Description: The Regional Development Agency of Dalarna in central Sweden would like to find partners to participate in the 'Youth to work' project. The project helps school pupils who are not qualified for jobs, and provides help and assistance for unemployed young people, creates tutorials for instructors and supervisors, and develops tools to communicate with disaffected youngsters. Description: The municipality of Soderhamn in Sweden is looking for partners to participate in a project working with young people. The 'high pressure' project, funded by the European Social Fund, aims to reduce unemployment among young people by working with public authorities in order to engage with disaffected youth. The municipality would like to work with public authorities, youth organisations and other groups that work with unemployed young people, in order to exchange ideas, best practices and experiences.

Description: Suffolk County Council would like to work with local authorities and relevant organisations on two projects:
