Public Procurement Networks
Funding is available under the CIP Entrepreneurship and Innovation programme to support public procurers in purchasing new and improved solutions, products and services in the Lead Market Initiative areas – construction, protective textiles, bio-based products, recycling, and renewable energies – thereby increasing the demand for innovation. Transnational networks should be established to enable Contracting Authorities to improve their knowledge about innovative solutions that are available or being developed by suppliers and how to succeed in procuring such solutions. Interaction with industry and potential suppliers and dissemination and training activities should be included.
